Martial Arts in School Sports - students' perceptions of selected forms of contact and distance combat sports
Abstract
The study examines the perception of students in relation to contact and distance combat sports by means of an intervention accompanied by a survey. It is not about the exclusion or implementation of certain contact or distance combat sports in physical education, but about stimulating the discourse about whether and how students perceive different forms of combat, how they judge them and what possible consequences result from this in terms of choosing combat sports for physical education.
